On the record

Studio. Stage. Backstage.

Three rooms, one sound. A look inside the sessions, shows and quiet minutes that shape every Lumyx release.

01 · Studio

Room A, after midnight

Vocal takes on our ribbon chain, straight to tape.

The signal chain

Built around one microphone.

Every vocal at Lumyx starts at the same capsule. Scroll to see why artists ask for it by name.

Large-diaphragm condenser microphone in a shock mount, lit from the side in a dark studio

Capsule

1-inch gold diaphragm

Captures breath, grit and the air around a voice without harshness.

Mount

Floating shock mount

Isolates rumble so every take stays clean, even at full volume.

Signal

Class-A tube path

Warm harmonic colour straight into our vintage console.

Our manifesto

We believe a great record is built in the room, not in the algorithm. Lumyx gives independent artists the space, the engineers and the release muscle to make music that lasts longer than a playlist cycle.
